  5. This program was written using MSVB 3 therefore the file VBRUN300.DLL must be 
  6. somewhere in your path.

  8. Blanker is a Windows 3.1 Screen saver. To set it up, simply copy the file 
  9. "PUZZLE.SCR" into your Windows directory, and set it up using control panel 
  10. in the usual way.
  11. When the screen saver kicks in, the screen will divide up into a number of 
  12. squares, and the computer will the start moving the squares around the screen.
  13. It will do this in one of two ways. First, ordered, will move the bits in 
  14. order. The second (more fun) moves the bits around in a random fashion 
  15. emulating one of those "sliding squares" puzzles.
  16. In the options box you can choose the number of bits, the speed, and the 
  17. type of shuffle.

  19. Note that because of the way this program works, if you are short of memory 
  20. (system resources), have a large resolution screen, or lots of colours, and 
  21. have chosen to have a large number of puzzle peices, then you may have a 
  22. problem with this program since your computer will not have enough memory to 
  23. draw all of, the squares. You will know if you suffer from this problem by 
  24. getting the error message "Can't create Auto-redraw image" if this happens, 
  25. decrease the number of peices.

  31.     That is just about all I have to say at the moment except to tell 
  32. you about registration. 
  33. This program is distributed as Shareware. That means you can copy this 
  34. program around as much as you like. However, if you use this program then 
  35. please send 3.50 pounds (5US Dollars) to me at the address below, and I will
  36. e-mail you a registered copy of the latest version of this program plus 
  37. some others I have written. If you don't have an email address , then 
  38. for 5.00 pounds (10US dollars) I will send you a disk with program on it etc.
  39. If registering from outside the UK then note, I would prefer UK pounds, eg a 
  40. check drawn on a UK bank, or cash, but I will accept US dollars, again Cash is 
  41. prefered (it is more easy to change).

  43. Sys-Ops and shareware distributers are welcome to put this program on their 
  44. lists. It might be a good idea to contact me first so that you can be sure 
  45. of having the latest version.
